How do you put movies on 4G iPod nano?

How can I install and watch movies on my 4G iPod nano? What do I need to do to watch them?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

First, you need to see that your video is in iPod-compatible format. The main formats compatible with iPod are MP4 or H2.64 format. If your video is not in the compatible format then you can use programs specifically designed for converting the video. One such program is Roxio. The other good programs are Altysoft iPod Video Converter and Tunebite. Some of the programs are paid but there are plenty of free programs available on the internet. Once you have converted the video, then you need to transfer the video to iTunes. Then you can connect your iPod Nano to your computer using the data cable. After this, you can easily sync your iPod with the iTunes installed on your computer and your video will be transferred to iPod Nano.
Hope this helps.
