How do you protect an adult from a teenager who is the sexual offender?
Lets say this is a preteen who has harmed you, your pets, and other family members. The Police failed you, and the foster care system failed you.. What would you do then? When the local police and the foster care system that is suppose to be there to protect children, are subjecting them to teenage sexual predators that prey on other teens, children, and pets. Who do you contact in this kind of situation?

My first answer would be the police, but since they are not helping, I would call a psychologist. It sounds to me like this kid has some serious issues to work out or may even have a serious mental disorder that needs medical attention. I would also talk to social services and the county attorney. Social services can help you get a program in place for this child and or help remove them from a situation in which they can cause harm to others. The county attorney can also help with these other services that are not helping you at the moment. I would also like to advise that you record every incident, no matter how small. Anytime this child causes harm, go to the emergency room or the clinic and get a report. Also, keep calling the police over any legal issue you may have with this child and also get reports.

I agree with you that the system needs a serious overhaul. Sometimes these things are not possible, as sad as that is. I have had many encounters with a failed system and it never gets any easier to deal with. When talking about fixing the offenders, all you can do is go through the system. If you want to fix the system, first I have to say, go get them. Second, I must say that you would have to start with your local and state governments and work your way up to the federal level. I personally feel that petitions and personal stories being forced upon these people/politician are the best way to go.
there has been cases where even their councilors and social services has not helped.. Then they grow up to becoming an adult again out of the system.... and end up in and out of jails.. having children.. who go through the exact same thing.. .. .. meanwhile hurting others that should have been helped and healed.. causing a bad domino effect through the system that failed all involved... Wouldn't it be time to find a way to fix the system then? :) I'd think so. Thanks, for your responce.
