M$I have some affiliate which are pay me $1 per sign up so why adsense but I believe adsense in better for beginners. No need ordinary knowledge to set up adsense.
But to set affiliate you need knowledge about HTML because most affiliate links are written in HTML code.

All the options you mentioned in your question are viable but you have to find for each blog what works best
All comes down to testing. This means you try one form of monetization links for example and run that for 1000 visitors. Then try adsense and let it run for another 1000 visitors
At the end of the test you compare the income generated with each part of the test and that usually should tell you what works best on that particular blog or website
