As far as how to make tacos, it is really pretty easy. Here's what you need to purchase: taco shells - either soft or hard ones, a pound of hamburger, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and taco sauce. If you like the seasoned meat in your tacos, you should also buy a taco seasoning packet. That's pretty much everything you need, and you can find all of these ingredients at the grocery store.
To actually make the tacos, you first cook the hamburger. Add the seasoning packet according to its directions if you are using that. Some people prefer plain hamburger and some like the seasoned meat as you would get at Taco Bell. Next, cut up the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and grate the cheese. I like cheddar cheese, but you can use any kind. Warm up the tacos either by zapping them for a few seconds in the microwave or you can heat them in the oven for a few minutes. After that, it's simply assembling the tacos - I have everyone make their own and put on it what they like. I usually put on the meat and then the cheese so that it melts a little, and the vegetables on top. Add taco sauce if you want to.
