The most popular of all white glue science projects has to be the Gak or Slime Project. This project has you create slime using Borax, water, white glue and food coloring. You will need 1 teaspoon of Borax, 1 1/2 cups of water, food coloring and 1/2 cup of white glue. You will also need two mixing bowels.
To make slime you will need to first create two solutions. The first solution will be made from white glue and a 1/2 cup of water, and the second solution will be made from 1 cup of water, the Borax and a few drops of food die. Once both solutions are mixed together you will want to mix the two solutions together. When the two mixtures combine they will create a flexible and pliable polymer. Knead until the polymer is firm. Store your slime in a zip locked baggie.
