D size battery
Small light bulb holder
Light bulb that fits the holder
Wire that should already be attached to the battery holder
On/Off switch (optional)
Gather the supplies listed in the "Things You Will Need" section. Place them on a table.
2. Set the battery aside. Take the battery holder and attach the red wire to one contact point on the light bulb holder and the black wire to the other contact point on the light bulb holder. If you would like to use a switch, attach the switch to the middle of the red wire.
3. Place the small light bulb inside the light bulb holder. Screw it in.
4. Put the battery inside the battery holder if you are not using a switch. As soon as the battery is in tight, the light bulb should light up since there is a complete electric circuit.
5. Make sure the switch is in the off position if you are using one. Place the battery inside the battery holder and turn the switch on. The light bulb should light up since there is a complete electric circuit.

M$bulb can light up.
2. Unconnect one of the wires that connects to the light bulb and battery and add the other 20 cm. wire and add the switch to the battery holder so it has one wire to the battery holder which connects to the light bulb, and one wire that connects to the light bulb and switch and to the other side of the battery.
3. Now we saw electricity was flowing we took the light bulb and the 20 cm. wire that is connected to the battery holder and replace it with the 80 cm. wire and connect that to the battery holder and the switch and it should look like the 80 cm. to the battery to the switch and the 20cm. wire to the switch and the other side of the battery holder.
