How do you make a great grilled cheese?

Grilled cheese is an underrated treat. Try this:
Butter two slices of bread and drop them into a pre-heated frying pan at medium heat. put a slice of cheese on each piece of bread. While that is cooking drop a couple of slices of salami or ham into the frying pan too. When the "down" side of the bread is slightly toasted, put the meat on the cheese and assemble the sandwich. Continue cooking until the sandwich is golden brown on each side. You may want to squish the sandwich with a spatcula while cooking. Yum!
