How do you handle odd citation requests when doing Mahalo page research

I picked up my first Mahalo Task today and I came across a survey with a lot of useful information that had specific citation instructions...an entire marketing paragraph that they want quoted if making use of their data. Have you run into anything like this before while researching for your pages? Have you added the citation or just moved on and looked for different data sources? Is there an existing best practice for handling odd citation requests?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

citation requests would be almost impossible to keep, as we have specific ways to cite references within the pages we take on to manage. even if you added the extra text they wanted, it would not show in the reference area... only the url would. i wouldn't add a full paragraph like that without running it past your vertical manager, for sure.

it is best to pass on any sources like that, in my opinion, as it is hard to comply with their terms.

there is usually another source.

I have not seen such requests, and if and when I do, I will most likely pass on that source unless it provides information I deem crucial for the page, and unavailable elsewhere.

Thanks. You have helped to confirm my skepticism regarding this tactic.
