M$Luckily I do mostly non-fiction articles for the internet. The topics vary so much that if I suddenly cannot complete one article, I can leave it and go to another totally different one. Once that latter one is completed, go back to the other one, and often your mind has cleared.
I also find that if I am just too tired or "blocked" to do the creative part of writing the article, I will do research for one or two other articles that are due shortly. That not only gives me something productive to do, but then I have a major step completed for the next writing that has to be done.
I am also a morning person and know I do much better in the early hours of the day, so I try to get to my writing as quickly as possible as soon as I get up.
