Clover tea is commonly made from red clover. The common clover in lawns is white clover. Red clover is a taller plant with larger, pinkish blossoms. It is a common weed along roadsides both in the U.S., Eurasia, and Africa. This page has a little about red clover, and has a picture of the blossom:

Gather the flowerheads and either use them fresh or dried to make tea. Make sure you know how to properly identify it so that you're not accidentally gathering a poisonous plant. Clover is in the legume family, but not all legumes are edible--some are poisonous.
