How do you fold a fitted sheet?

Fold it in half the long way,
Tuck the corners into each other.
Fold in half again, and again tuck the corners into each other letting the excess fabric drape into the sheet. This will create a clean "rectangle" (or "square" if it's a twin sheet).
With the excess edges of the sheet still folded into itself, begin to finish folding the sheet the way you would fold any rectangular piece of linen.
When it is a more reasonable size (one or two more folds) you can lay it on a flat surface and gently run your hands over the top surface, or slip them between layers, to smooth it out to get it to lay flatter. Finish folding it down to the size you want.
Generally you make all the folds in half, but if you need to store it on a narrower shelf, try using a tri-fold for the last fold instead of a half fold.

M$- I first fold the sheet into anything resembling a long rectangle.
-- about 18inches wide X 4-5 feet long.
- Roll up.
- Store like rolled towels with other rolled fitted sheets give the appearance of purpose and order.
Like below but with fitted sheets instead of towels.
