How do you feel about the SATs? Should students have to take them? Or should colleges look at other things and exclude the SAT scores?

Colleges do look at other things. Call the admissions department of the college you are most interested in and talk to them. Be polite, excited, interested, and find out what they are looking for, and how you can improve your chances of acceptance.
