How do you feel about the Marilyn Manson Swine Flu snot rocket incident?

Do you think that when at a crowded concert that you take the risk for airborne contagions?
Tip for best answer: M$1.05
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think it's completely normal coming from Marilyn Manson.

It seems that "punk" has now come full circle.

I went to see PIL (Public Image, Ltd.) perform in the mid-80's and fondly remember John Lydon (formerly Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols) get terribly upset with people in the audience spitting on him as he was trying to sing.
I think they were trying to be as obnoxious as he was in the Sex Pistols.

Regardless, he yelled into the microphone "I don't want to get AIDS from you a**holes!" and stormed off. (the concert was in San Francisco and people didn't know what they know about the disease)

He ended up coming back and finishing the show, but I think it's funny what a person expects from a hard core concert. (performer or audience...)

I also think that Mr. Manson has gotten such a bad rap for just speaking his mind and playing what he wants to play, that I say... "leave him alone".

Personally I would worry about other more serious infectious diseases I could get from using the toilet at one of those venues!

I found the video. You can skip to 1:30 to see his snot filled encore if you like.
