In Saints Row 2, how do you do the "barnstorming" diversion?

You have to fly either a plane or a helicopter super fast and low, usually under an obstacle or through a tunnel. You can tell you're doing it right cuz the Barnstorming star meter will show up on your screen. If you manage to make it to the location without crashing, you'll get credit.
1. You don't have to have 3 stars in the meter to be successful.
2. If you touch the ground, you'll fail.
