How do you discontinue a membership to Netflix? I am looking to switch to Blockbuster or simply use another service instead.

I cancelled my netflix a while back, they asked me to double-confirm, then sent me to a quick survey defining why I'd want to.
Blockbuster is fine, the fact you can turn movies in to the store instead of waiting for the post office to send things back and forth is nice, but I've done quite well without watching any movies at all lately.

Put Membership on hold
Cancel Membership
Click on Cancel and follow the prompts. Make sure you mail back any DVDs that you have.

The following is purely based on my friend's experience. They canceld the Netflix and switched to Blockbuster, they hated it so much that they were back to Netflix within two months. Whatever service you switch to make sure to find out if there is a hub near you. Close hub may mean quick mailing times ^_^

2) In the top right corner of the page there will be a link that says "Your Account & Help" click that.
3) On the right hand side of the page there will be a column where you can find the cancel your account link.
4) Follow the prompts from there.
