How do you determine the best hair style for your face type and shape?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi @tremaco! I found a very helpful guide on how to determine the best hairstyle for your face shape:
1. If you have a round-shape face, wide cheeks and soft, non angular features, the best hair style for you would be longer, layered cuts. According to Rodney Cutler a a hairstylist that although a bob can work, the length should be slightly A-line.

2. Oval faces can wear any type of hairstyle and they look great with shorts hair. Bangs can also help balance out a long face to soften the features.

3. For heart-shaped face can play around with a variety of length. They can carry off full bangs that are cut straight across the face. Longer-side swept bangs and layers will work wonders on heart-shaped face ladies like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Victoria Beckham.

4. If the face is square, the best style would be soft and layers.

5. For a big forehead, bangs would be very flattering and very feminine too. It would also be great to try out a style with shorter layers at the chin to take some of the weight off the hair and give it great shape.
