How do you define the word Charity?
I have heard the word charity defined a lot of ways. What does the word charity mean in the scriptures??

From my personal experiences and interruption from my beliefs, is that you should give freely, without grudge and without expecting anything in return. You should give anonymously without expecting any recognition. You give because you wholeheartedly want to give, not want a special award or "points". You give what you can, if it be money, time or a helping hand. Set aside your own selfishness to offer help to those who need it worst. Charity is giving or doing because you feel it in your heart and don't expect anything, anything in return.
