If your dog is able to tolerate raw meat, you can give her a bone once or twice a week. A raw beef bone or a raw turkey neck should do the trick. Whenever a dog eats a bone, she should always be supervised, never left alone.
Raw bones (never cooked bones). if given on a regular basis, will clean and keep the dogs teeth clean, and in most cases, it is the tartar and bacteria build-up that is causing bad breath so if the tartar and bacteria are eliminated so will the bad breath.

You should talk to your vet. By default pretty much everyone and everything tends to have "bad breath" by most people's standards when not masked by mints or the like, regardless of oral hygiene. If your dog's breath is particularly foul though that could suggest dietary problems, gum disease, or some other ailment leading to a stronger breath than normal.

In fact if she smells strong period even when clean odds are there may be something causing it, clean dogs (especially short haired ones) are not very smelly animals.

The best way to get nice breath in your pet ( dog or cat ) is to feed them fresh bones that they have to chew.

For a boxer you could try chicken legs or chicken wings. Fresh chicken bones are OK just don't feed them cooked ones! After about a week you will notice a huge change in breath freshness!

Dogs really shouldn't have bad breath. It can be the sign of a health problem. If it doesn't resolve in a couple of days, a trip to the vet is in order.

A dog can have bad breath because of an upset stomach. Try one of these herbs to remedy it:

· Dill
· Parsley
· Ginger
