By "level 6" I assume you mean "Enter the Cheatrix," the level where Prof. Frink is captured by a giant Donkey-Kong-style ape.
When I played this level these were the things I had the most trouble with, explained:
You'll need to use Bart's new grapple hook at the beginning to get from platform to platform.
To open the green pipes, Bart and Lisa need to both stand on the pressure pads at the same time.
In the second room, you'll need to use Bart's grappling hook to get to the platform in the middle of the acidic water, then pull a lever so in order to get Lisa to the platform.
Use Lisa's "Hand of Buddha" skill to place the cogs in an order that will get them to rotate.
Eventually you'll be able to defeat the ape using the "Hand of Buddha"'s newly obtained flicking skill.

thanks for the advice :) im stuck on the different colour pipes bit, how can i get into the green pipe when it is too high to jump?? please help me!!
