How do you celebrate Christmas?
In what order do you lay out your traditions on the big day?
I do it like this:
1. WAKE UP!!!!!!1 Open presents.
2. Drink coffee and eat crisps.
3. Get dressed, look normal for the average digital camera resolution.
4. Christmas dinner, eat it all even though "it all" is too much.
5. Laugh for a bit, then wait for the family to go home so I can get properly drunk with my mateys :)

Well, usually, for us, Christmas is jam packed! I go to my in-laws, as well as one of my family members house - whoever is holding the dinner that year.
This year, it went like this. My mom, husband, son and I drove up Christmas Eve night to my in-laws (about 45 min north of where we live), and we stayed the night. After my son was asleep, I brought in his presents and laid them under the tree. We woke up super early (long day) and opened presents, and had breakfast together. My in-laws have season tickets to the Arizona Cardinals (football team) and they played on Christmas day this year. So they left around noon or so to go start tailgating. We left shortly after to go visit my grandmother in law for a bit at her home (nursing home), and sat and talked with her for a while. Then we all headed back down to my sisters house, she was holding dinner this year. The family we have in Arizona was there and we all had a good dinner. We woke up that morning around 7am and didnt get home till 9pm. It was a very long day. But it was fun. Its always nice to see all the family (or at least as many that live by you) on holidays.
Next year we are going to try to have a much calmer Christmas with not so much driving! lol.
