How do you build a "new email from template" button for the Microsoft Office tool bar?

We have built an email template that staff use to submit data to a database. What would be great is if we could have a button on the tool bar for the new email template. Any ideas for how to do this?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You can create a macro, and then assign a custom button to it, which you can then include on a standard (or custom) toolbar. Hopefully this article from Tech Republic might help:

http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-1060039.html

It has the steps for MS Excel in the top half of the article, and steps for MS Word in the bottom half.

Also, you could consider a different approach, by creating a desktop shortcut to your new template, and when your users double-click on that shortcut, it'll open into the new email template....
