How do you backflip?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Firstly, I would recommend you try backflipping on a trampoline, then off a wall and then do a typical backflip without any support.

Note: Perform at your own risk.

You must first warm up before trying to do anything. This is a must for every dancer or break dancers who do back flips.

Then with two other people, find somewhere at least soft like a mat. Practice flipping backwards with these two people guiding you. Just practice first so you could calculate your movements and your weight as well.

When you're used to having two people to help you out, try just one person assisting you. By now, you must have realized your weight and how much force you have to exert to get a full backward loop.

Once you think you can do it yourself, try doing it alone. Having someone around to watch you is better so if anything goes wrong, someone could lend a hand.

Practicing makes this routine looks better and seem effortless. But make sure there are someone with you when you're just starting.

By the way, for further instructions and tips, read this How To page! http://www.mahalo.com/how-to-do-a-backflip

I personally know that person who made that content and he himself can do back flips! ^^
