Please save the messages. Also contact your local ISP. Sometimes (if they aren't too busy) local police they will help if these threats threaten life or property. Have this person's ID blocked.

Crossing international borders is very difficult to enforce. If it is life threatening, you definitely need to get the police involved, possibly FBI.

In the meantime, get some positive life experiences. Enjoy life! Think about why it did not work. Define what love means to you. If it is real, mutual love, friendship and respect, it will work.

Read the book “Are you the one for me?” Barbara DeAngelis. This will help you make better choices and help with your self esteem. Ask friends and family to meet your "dates" and help you get to know them.

Maybe you cared about the person, but they did not care back. A love relationship goes two ways and grows. Develop positive life experiences. Make new friends. Learn to listen. Understand other people. Share. Talk about serious things. Read some good relationship books and discuss them with friends or a book reading group.

I realize you may have heard some of this before, but it is true. You have to experience it for yourself. There are many people out in the world, some good, some bad, some inbetween. Just decide what you want for your life, and search and work to get it!

Sounds awful! First of all, I want to express my sympathy for the situation he put you in.
Not only has he betrayed your trust, he also took advantage of you, hurting you both emotionally and financially.
I don't know whether you have any possibility to pres charges against the company that should pay you for your work, but if he really is sending threats, you should immediately start documenting those. Keep records of everything he says or does, and log it carefully. You should also go to the police to report him, even if he is now in another country.
