How do they decide who the front man is in a band?
How is a front man chosen for a music group? Is the front man always the lead singer of the group? Has a drummer ever been a front man for any group?

To answer the first two questions, yes the lead singer is automatically the front man, he is not "chosen". Secondly, yes, there have been drummers that have been front men. One that immediately comes to mind is a man by the name of Aaron Gillespie. He is the former drummer of a band called Underoath in which he was merely the drummer. However, he went on to start his own band named The Almost in which he was only the drummer every once in a blue moon for certain songs, but in the end he ended up being a front man. There are also numerous other instances in which this has occurred in the past with many other drummers that have started their own bands as an offshoot of the original or were as such in the first place.
