How do M&Ms melt in your mouth, but not in your hands?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I don't think it's an actual claim that they don't melt in your hands. It's actually meant to imply that the candies don't stay long enough in your hands to melt because you're too busy eating them. =P

I always thought it was because of the 'thick candy shell'
