How do Louisianans serve alligator?

When I ate alligator, I was at a restaurant on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. It's also on many menus in Louisiana. I had it in the same way that chicken fingers are cooked; it was just the breaded meat. It really tasted quite a bit like chicken, actually. Alligator is also served in soup. I'm sure you could cook it like you would chicken, but here's a site that has a few alligator recipes listed: http://www.cajuncookingrecipes.com/alligator/
