How do I use Notes on the iPhone?

What is Notes for the iPhone? Do I need a special app for Notes for the iPhone?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hello @jonsigler!

I found this tutorial online on how to use the Notes feature on the iPhone. I hope this will help you and will serve as your guide. Notes is a feature on the iPhone so you can use it without using any special app.

1. Click the center button of your iPhone and slide the slider to the right to see the main screen and press the "Notes" icon.
2. If you have never used Notes feature before you will see an empty yellow screen that says "No Notes" and this will resemble a legal pad.
3. Look at the upper right hand corner and you will see a (+) symbol, press it and the screen will now say "New Note" in the middle.
4. Type your note on the touchscreen pad. You can write a long or short notes. After you are finished typing your notes, you will see a "Done" button on the upper right hand corner and press on it.
5. You will then see your note on the screen and you can either leave it on your phone or you can email it or discard/trash it..
6. If you want to email your note, press the icon at the bottom of the page that looks like an envelop and your email will automatically populate and the cursor will blink in the TO: section. You will also see the topic of your note in the subject line.
7. Hit the "send" option that you will find in the upper right hand corner and you are done.
