How do I use Lightning and Sunbird on Firefox?

Both the Lightning and the Sunbird are not made for use with Firefox. Instead, the two applications are apps and extensions used in conjection with Thunderbird to add calendar and schedule management capabilities to Mozilla Thunderbird.
Currently, Thunderbird by itself does not have a calendar function like other popular mail clients such as Microsoft Exchange or even a web-based mail provider like Google. Users who want to be able to manage their calendars with Thunderbird will have to make use of Lightning, which adds a calendar function to Thunderbird. Once installed into Thunderbird, Lightning allows you to connect to your other calendars as such your Google Calendar.
Sunbird is another extension to be used on Thunderbird together with Lightning. With Sunbird, you are not only able to manage different schedules, but you can also store it easily wherever you choose.
