There are three ways works can be cited: American Psychological Association Style (APA), Modern Language Association Style (MLA) and the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS). All three manners of citing works in a bibliography have their ways to cite electronic sources. If you’re using Microsoft Word, you can click on ‘references’ then ‘manage sources’ input the information. The references are defaulted to APA style but you can choose the style you want or need to use by using the style dropdown menu.
To show you an example, let’s say I watched a Podcast on dog behavior presented by John Smith. I would cite it in the following ways:
APA
Smith, J. (Host)(2011, February 14). My Dog is Crazy! Podcast. Dog and Cat Behavior Made Simple. Cleveland, OH: Animal Network. Retrieved February 18, 2011, from http://itunes.com/1234
Chicago

MLA doesn’t have a specific guideline set-up for podcasts, but if you are required to set up a podcast citation, you’d be safest filling in the blanks for the ‘electronic source’.
