Cosmetologists know that the flat iron must be a high heat iron. Preferably 350 degree or up. The lower heat irons actually cause more damage. You should look for a quality iron at your local beauty supply store that says it heats up to at least 350 minimum. The staff will help you pick out the perfect flat iron for your hair.
