How do I unclog my bathtub drain?
What is the best way for me to unclog my bathtub drain? What kinds of chemicals should I use?

The best and cheapest way to unclog your bathtub drain is to use baking soda and white vinegar. The chemicals you can buy at drugstores and grocery stores will be just as effective (I’ve used Liquid-Plumr and Draino with equal success.) However, those chemicals will be more expensive for the same amount of effectiveness as the kitchen materials.
Baking soda and white vinegar will be the most effective if you get all the backed up water out of your tub first. Sprinkle the baking soda down the drain, then pour the vinegar down the drain. Use equal parts baking soda and vinegar and don’t put them together in the same container before pouring them down the drain. The chemical reaction from the base baking soda and the acid vinegar combining will clean out your drain. (I believe
Liquid-Plumr Foaming Pipe Snake works the same way, an acid and a base kept separate, then combined to clean out the drain.) This is safe for the environment because the resulting compounds will be water and a salt.

put some vinegar and baking soda down your drain to break down fat and keep your drain smelling fresh.
