How do I unauthorise computer that no longer exists from my iTunes account?
I've reformatted my PC a number of times and registered/authorised the PC with my iTunes account/iPod Touch each time. It now says that it has been authorised on 4 out of 5 PCs but obviously after reformatting the previous computers no longer exist.
Is there a way to unauthorise my account with those old PC installs? As I will no doubt reformat again at somepoint and therefore hit the limit of 5.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes, you can definitely do this. I have actually done it myself.
From MacWorld:
"Launch iTunes, select Music Store, and click your Account name in the upper right corner of the iTunes window. When prompted to do so, enter the password for your Apple ID.
At the bottom of the first panel in the Apple Account Information window you’ll see the number of computer authorizations you’ve used.
When you reach five authorizations a new “Deauthorize All” button appears at the bottom of this pane."
