Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Our babies are born with very sensitive skin and we have to be careful and cautious with the products we use on their skin and the products we wash their clothes in. The baby lotions and oils smell heavenly on their bodies, but it’s not good for their skin. What tends to happen is the baby's skin becomes irritated causing eczema; dry, red, patches and bumps on various places of the body; not just the face. Some cases of eczema are worse than others, but take it from someone who has experienced this with her own babies it looks much worse than it really is, the rash may continue to spread. Of course the best thing to do is not PANIC!! Keep your baby’s face clean and dry, wash after every feeding with nothing but water. If you feel you are not doing enough there are two things you can use on there delicate skin apply hydrocortisone cream 1% to their skin twice a day and use Lubriderm sensitive skin lotion for those dry patches as much as you like throughout the day and you will begin to notice it clearing up and your baby will soon have the same gorgeous skin and angelic faces they were born with.

If you haven't tried Naturals Baby Eczema Cream, you should try that. It's a light green and white tube and has a picture of winnie the pooh on it. It acts more as a topical ointment than a lotion and should only be applied to the problem areas. It's available at Target for sure and probably any other place that sells baby products.

My nephew also had to deal with that same condition as a baby and this cream really helped to treat it and get rid of the rashes and dryness.
