How do I switch electrical current automatically between two devices?
I have two lights that need turned on and off every five minutes. How can I make it so that every five minutes one light turns on and the other one turns off?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You are looking for a two-channel chasing timer. These devices are often used for lighting effects for retail displays, night clubs, or live performances.
There are several brands to select from (just Google "2 channel chasing timer"). You should be able to find a good quality device for less than $40.
An example is the Chauvet 2/4 Channel Chasing Timer being sold by Spectrum Audio for $35.09.
