How do I style a wig?
Is there a technique for styling a wig? How do I wash a wig without damaging it? Can I find a coupon for buying a wig?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi there!! First of all, you want to make sure to buy a human hair wig. If you buy a synthetic wig, you will not be able to use thermal tools, such as a curling iron on it. If you buy a human hair wig, you can do pretty much anything to it. You can style the wig, as you would your own hair. You can use a curling iron on a low setting and curl the hair. You can also shampoo and condition it. I have always used a gentle shampoo on wigs. Even Johnsons Baby Shampoo works great.
At beauty supply stores you can find styrofoam heads to place your wig on. You can style the wig on a stand or style it while on your head. I personally always preferred styling the wig while on my head.
As for coupons or deals, you can find many deals and discounts on wigs. Chose the store you prefer and then even check out the clearance. Many stores are offering deals, discounts and even coupons. Some sites have a "coupons and deals" section, right on their homepage.
