You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hey there @dm7!
As far as I know, there is no way to share files between your Playstation 3 and home computer via Bluetooth. The Playstation 3 uses bluetooth only for communication with various peripheral devices such as controllers, headsets, mice and keyboards.
If you want to share files, your best bet is to have your Playstation 3 hooked up to your home network along with the computers you want the Playstation 3 to communicate with. Once your Playstation 3 is connected, it should be able to detect all media servers in the network, and all shared folders/files. You can also share files via external media such as external hard drives and flash drives. Just make sure that they are formatted to Fat32 as this is the only supported file system by the PS3 for external devices.
