How do I set up my iMac?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Setting up your iMac should be a fairly easy thing to do. The great things about iMacs are that you only have to deal with one component – the screen, since all the other components and parts are built into, and behind the LCD screen.
To set up your iMac, all you need to do is to connect the power cord to your iMac and then plug in. Then, connect the keyboard and the mouse. If these two accessories are wireless, then you will need to turn them on. Power up your iMac and click your mouse to establish a connection. You will then be taken through the setup process. If you have a USB keyboard or mouse, then you will not have to click your mouse to connect it to your iMac.
If you are connected to the internet through an Ethernet modem, then you can connect your Ethernet cable to your iMac before you power it up.
After you complete the setup assistant, you’re ready to use your new iMac!
