How do I set daily iCal events to only be on weekdays?

I have created a daily recurring event in Mac iCal, but I want it to only be on Monday to Friday? Is there a way to do that with one event rather than creating five weekly repeating events?

Currently, "repeat" is set for "Every day" and there's no "Every weekday" option. If I select "Custom...", it still only gives me the option of every day.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Create an event and select "Custom" on the repeat option. Use the frequency drop down menu to select "Weekly". Then click on the days you want - in this case Monday through Friday. Make sure you establish the time for the event, and you should have what you want.
