You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Corn fritters are similar to fried cornbread, except they actually have corn in them rather than cornmeal. Fritters have been around for a very long time and there is even a holiday called “National Fritters Day” that is celebrated on Dec. 2nd.

You can fry corn fritters in a pan or deep fry them. Depending on which you want, will depend on which recipe you’ll want to use. They are ver similar however.

Pick which recipe you want to use and mix the ingredients up in mixing bowl. Take a skillet preheated with butter on medium heat, or a preheated deep fryer with vegetable oil at 375 degrees. Pour patties into the grease and fry until golden brown on each side. Remove them onto a paper towel to absorb the excess grease. Serve hot with butter if desired. Some people eat them like pancakes with syrup. I don’t like it sweet. I prefer it more like a potato cake myself.
