How do I make chocolate chip cookies chewy, crisp but not dry?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

To make the chocolate chips chewy is to make sure that you don't put dough on a hot or even warm pan. This will make them crispy along the edges. most important you should put them in the oven with the right amount time and bake until golden brown.

Here's the tips to make your chocolate chips perfect:

Too late to answer, but this information is incorrect. Voting no best on this.
To make chocolate chip cookies crispy, moist, and chewy, use brown sugar instead of white. Watch them carefully while they cook, and don't overbake. Brown sugar contains molasses, which pulls moisture out of the air. This moisture is stored within the cookie, and keeps them soft and moist on the inside. To ensure this, cool the cookies completely and store them in something less than airtight.
