How do I make a great Bundt Cake?

I just got a new bundt cake pan and I want to give it a spin. I don't really have any recipes for a bundt cake on hand. My grandmother used to make the best bundt cakes and I really enjoyed them. For some reason they seem to taste so much better to me than regular cakes. Maybe they are moister than regular cakes?

What are some great recipes that are for bundt cakes?

One of the easiest and best tasting Bundt cakes is a simple 7-Up Pound Cake. The taste is light and airy, like a butter cake with a touch of lemon flavoring. The light lemon flavor can be intensified using more lemon extract, and there are several recipes for glazes that go well with this cake. It can even be served topped with fresh berries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a nice summery treat.

Easy 7-Up Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 pound butter
6 cups flour, divided
5 eggs
2 tablespoons lemon extract
3/4 cup 7Up

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine butter and 3 cups flour.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by remaining flour and lemon extract.
4. Fold in 7-Up.
5. Pour into a well-greased Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour.
6. Let cool.

I found this great Bundt cake recipe which you can give a try:

Kittencal's Moist One-Bowl Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake

You will need: 2/3 cup sifted cocoa
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp instant coffee granules
1 1/2 cups unsweetened orange juice
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups canola oil or vegetable oil

Procedure:
1. Heat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
2. Place the rack to the second to the lowest position
3. Place a generous amount of grease and flour to a 12-cup bundt pan.
4. Get an extra large mixing bowl and combine all the cake ingredients and mix this on medium speed of an electric mixer. This should last for 3 minutes or until they are all very well combined.

5. Put inside the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until it is done. Let it cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before removing.

6. You can glaze or frost when it is completely cooled.

Here is one I like (though being a diabetic I don't make it as often as I once did).

1 box Duncan Hines Devils food Cake mix
1 small box dark chocolate pudding mix (instant)
Grease bundt pan with shortening. Use a couple of spoons of the dry cake mix to "flour" the pan. Combine pudding mix with cake mix and other ingredients. Prepare according to directions and then pour into bundt pan, using baking guide on the box. When done, remove from oven, cook and turn out on plate or cake platter. Next prepare the glaze to drizzle over cake; recipe below.

Glaze
1 cup 10X powder sugar
3 TBSP baking cocoa
2 TBSP melted butter
2-3 TBSP hot water
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat until well mixed. Drizzle over cake.
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts, or shaved dark chocolate.
