How do I learn to make bouillabaisse like a master chef?
I am going to make bouillabaisse for a large group of people, and I am trying to figure out how. I have read that I need at least a dozen different types of white fish fillets. So does this mean I need 12 different types of fresh fish to fillet? What type of mussels or other seafood would be best to add to the recipe? Do I boil these in with the fish? What vegetables do you suggest would be the tastiest addition to the fish stew? I have never made this before, and it's too expensive to flop, so any helpful suggestions are well appreciated for making my bouillabaisse a complete success!

Did you know that Mahalo has an excellent Bouillabaisse page? There is a bouillabaisse recipe there as well as all the details. And in stead of being in dozens the recipe is in pounds so it will make it easier for you to figure out how much fish you need. Buon appetito!
