step 1) Sit with your knees bent with the rope in front of you.
2) keep the board out of water and hold on to the rope when the boat starts
3) As the boat pulls you out of the water, allow your body to turn (left foot forward or goofy ie right foot forward).
The main thing i notice with beginners is that they easily let go of the rope. There is a lot of resistance and its key to not let go of the rope.

M$For some the first try goes well and for others it can take an hour or two. It all depends on how gifted the individual is and how skilled the driver of the boat is. But it is important that you don't give up, remind yourself that you will get it eventually and then you will have the routine down for the next time your out in the water.
