How do I know what size collar that I need for my dog?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

In order to fit your dog with an appropriate collar, be sure that the collar will sit high on the neck, so take your measurement from there before purchasing a collar. Add two to three inches so to allow two fingers to fit under it once it is on the dog.
Never allow the collar to be too loose as this can become hazardous to your dog as it could slip off, or worse get caught in something.
There are many collars available on the market. Many different sizes to choose from.
There are many large breed collars as are many toy breed collars available as well.
For your convenience, I have added some links below that I feel may be helpful.

If after reviewing the website above, you are still having problems locating a suitable collar, I would suggest to use a harness instead
or
have someone custom make your dog a collar.
If your dog is still growing, be sure to have the collar made with more length and additional holes for the buckle to be adjusted to, should you go for a buckle style collar.
