How can I tell if my Google Adsense account is set to show content related, or search term related ads?
As a freelance writer, I have content at many sites that are affiliated with my personal AdSense account. I have noticed a overly decreased in the amount of money I am generating from my articles. Someone suggested that at some point in the past google changed they way ads were generated. That unless I opted out, I may have been placed on search term related ads. That when people visit my content they are seeing ads that are not even related to my content. How do I see which type of ads are being place on the websites? And how do change the Google AdSense back to the content related if need be?

Go to your Google AdSense account. Select the tab "My Account", scroll down to the section "Interest-based Ads Preference" and click on edit and set your preference to "Do not show ads that are based on user-interest categories. Visit information from my sites will not be used to help create interest categories."
