How do I know I am diabetic?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi @sqrmayor!
If you think that you may have diabetes, it would be best to consult a medical professional so that he can do some test to confirm if you do have diabetes.
However, you can check if you have one or many of the symptoms:
*if you notice fruity smell on your breath. This is a sign of a condition called Ketoacidosis that is caused by high blood sugar or hyperglycemia. This requires urgent medical attention. If you noticed that you have a fruity breath it is also a sign that you may have diabetes
*you feel excessive thirst
*you feel hungry all the time
*polyuria, or increased frequency of urination
*you notice that you are losing weight
*you feel tired especially after eating
*you feel irritable
*you have wounds that don't heal or heals slowly
*chronic and frequent infections
*leg cramps
*blurred vision
2. If you experience the above symptoms, you need to consult your doctor.
