How do I install boot camp on OS X 10.5.6?
Do you need the install DVD? If so, I don't have a copy (work laptop)--is there a way around this? Detailed instructions please!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$The Boot Camp Assistant should run you through the process in a pretty straight-forward manner. Be sure to have on hand:
1 - A non-activated copy of Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later) or Windows Vista.
2 - A blank CD.
3 - Your Leopard installation disc.
A possible workaround to not having your install disc is to visit an Apple Specialist such as the Apple retail store or The Mac Store and have them help with or perform the installation. Of course before doing this you may want to try asking your employer if you can use the disc.
The first source I've listed is Apple's official Boot Camp Installation and Setup Guide. It may prove useful!

M$If you have fragmentation, you'll probably need to back up your system (I find Time Machine most adept at this), format your hard disk, re-install OS X and your data, and try again.

Yes, Boot Camp comes installed already on Leopard, but that is a little misleading. It means that the software required for Boot Camp is already there, but actually setting it up is a process in itself. I think the original question was looking for details regarding the setup process.
Do NOT use the version of Boot Camp linked in the answer above. Firstly because it is an old version from the beta days, and will not work with Leopard. Also because it is not hosted on apple.com, and it is generally a good idea to download this kind of low-level software only from Apple directly.
