Look for scholarships in every place possible: the high school guidance counselor’s office is a great place to start; a newspaper that caters to high school or college students; the bulletin boards at a local college; the college counselor’s office or office of financial aid. There are also scholarships available online, but many of these are simply scams that will promise you access to information that is just as easily available in other formats.
