How do I fix my Mahalo email notifications?
I started getting email notifications to the OLD email address (even though the new one is the one on file (and verified)).
How do I update my email address on Mahalo and have it use the email that is on my profile settings?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$I haven't gotten an email from Mahalo since June something...
Maybe the guys at mahalo staff can diagnose the problem based on your experience...

Thank you for the suggestion. I resubmitted my new email but nothing happened. Maybe if I enter my old one again it will start using my new one?
I might try that if no better "trick" surfaces here.
I have a very similar issue, I only get "fan club" notifications.
Thanks for the feedback @redgold
So I resubmitted my first email address and got the notification in my first email inbox to verify the address. But because it has been verified before, the Mahalo site didn't prevent me from posting answers (usually you get a notice at the top of the page telling you to verify before you can post from a new address).
But here's the "trick" - I didn't click on the verification link and guess what? I got an email notification at the LAST email address I had in there (which, if you've been following along, is the NEW one)!
Crazy, huh?
So here's the sequence of events:
1. Joined Mahalo, received the "Welcome" and "verification" email.
2. No emails from Mahalo.
3. Months later I submitted a new email address. Received "verification" email.
4. Mahalo site showed notice that I needed to verify my email before posting.
5. Got emails at my OLD address.
6. Clicked the verification email for my NEW address.
7. Submitted this question.
8. Stopped receiving emails at any address.
9. Changed email address to the FIRST email address.
10. Received verification email at FIRST address (which in the past had already been verified).
11. No notice on Mahalo preventing posts while waiting for verification.
12. I start receiving emails at the SECOND email address.
Conclusion? Follow these steps if you don't get emails. I'll submit a link to this question to contact@mahalo.com.
