If you have very-small holes in the roof - which is likely if your roof's made of metal - just go buy a big bucket of Silver Dollar roof coat at the hardware store. You can apply it to the roof with a cheap, dollar-store cotton mop, or you can use one of the brushes that are usually located right next to that section of the hardware store. Be sure to cover the seams really well, as that's where many leaks are located.
If you have larger holes, you'll need to patch them before you use the roof coating, or it just won't work.
